Cloudzy Partners With Dynamis PRC as Politecnico di Milano Team Builds on No. 3 Formula Student Electric World Ranking
Cloudzy has partnered with Dynamis PRC, the Formula Student team of Politecnico di Milano, providing cloud infrastructure for the digital tools and services used across the student-run engineering organization.
The partnership begins as Dynamis enters its 2026 development cycle following the strongest season in its history. The team finished third in the 2025 Formula Student World Ranking for electric vehicles, a ranking spanning more than 400 university teams worldwide and based on results across multiple seasons.
Dynamis PRC has represented Politecnico di Milano in Formula Student for more than two decades. Founded in 2004, the program brings together students from across the university to design, manufacture, test and race Formula-style prototypes in international competition. After years competing with combustion cars, Dynamis moved into electric development and later added autonomous driving capabilities to its vehicles.
Its 2025 car, DP16, competed across four international Formula Student events during a season involving more than 150 students. Dynamis finished third overall in Switzerland and Austria, fourth in the Czech Republic and sixth at Formula Student Germany in Hockenheim. The season also brought a Cost & Manufacturing victory in Austria, a Garrett Powertrain Innovation Award in the Czech Republic and a second consecutive MathWorks Modeling and Simulation Award in Germany.
Behind those cars is a substantial digital operation.
Dynamis maintains a dedicated IT function responsible for the team's digital infrastructure, internal communication systems, website and the tools its members use throughout the season. The department also develops custom solutions around the team's operational needs. Cloudzy infrastructure now supports that environment, helping keep those applications available to team members throughout the development cycle.
“Our partnership with Cloudzy provides us with everything we need to keep all of our apps available to every team member, with no downtime.”

That infrastructure sits behind an engineering program whose work extends well beyond the track. Formula Student requires teams to develop the vehicle as an entire engineering and business project, from design and manufacturing to cost analysis and technical validation. Within Dynamis, that work spans areas including aerodynamics, chassis, electronics and powertrain, vehicle dynamics, autonomous driving and IT.
The team's technical departments work with tools including CAD, computational fluid dynamics, finite-element analysis, electrical and thermal modelling, embedded software, vehicle simulation, SLAM and autonomous trajectory planning. Keeping the systems used by a large multidisciplinary team available throughout the season is therefore part of the engineering operation itself.
Following the 2025 campaign, Dynamis is already developing its 2026 prototype with the goal of building on its third-place world ranking.
The partnership is part of Cloudzy's Education Program, through which universities, researchers and student engineering teams can access cloud infrastructure for technical and academic projects. For Cloudzy, the program is intended to put production-grade computing resources in the hands of teams using them to build and test real systems.
